Nola Schneider, the mother of Katherine 'Katie' Schneider, confirmed on social media Sunday that human remains found near Castle Rock Park were her daughter's. 

The city unions’ call for a three-day strike beginning Aug. 15 had been put on hold for 24 hours Monday, giving the council a chance to approve the deal.

The local enforcement, conducted July 19-30, was part of a national operation led by the FBI known as Operation Cross Country.

Martin Helda pleaded guilty to three fraud counts, including Workers Compensation Premium Fraud, Employment Development Department fraud and wage theft.
