Californians accused of crimes spend an average of five days waiting to see a lawyer. Santa Clara County has a successful program that helps defendants keep their jobs and spend less time in jail.
Shannon O’Connor is facing 39 criminal charges related to her efforts to separate victims from their parents using Snapchat, provide them with alcohol and allow them to engage in reckless behavior at her home.
San Jose police have not yet identified the homicide victim, and did not identify Ishihara until today’s announcement on Twitter. The press release gave no further details about the incident, the victim or the alleged assailant.
