Glennda Chui of the Mercury News reminds us that it’s best for cities to stick together to prepared in case of an emergency.  According to the Merc, Dave Pandori may be preparing to enter the Mayor’s race.

What about the biggest news? Knight Ridder bought Silicon Valley Community Newspapers. Now they will control virtually everything read in the valley.

It’ll be getting murkier every day!

There is a good column at the Sacramento Bee web site by Daniel Weintraub about Tom McEnery and Gov. Schwarzenegger support of prop 77.

It is sad to see the public employee unions attacking Mr. McEnery and Frank Jordan personally by calling them “Benedict Arnold Democrats” for not following the official party line.

Interesting article about Ken Yeager’s stance on illegal tree removals.  Funny how one of his chief supporters in my neighborhood (Cory) has been relentlessly after me for years to chop down seven trees on my border for no good reason.  I wonder how I could reach him?  I wonder if he would be interested?

I LOVED Sarah Holcomb in “Animal House,” and in “Caddyshack.” I’m sorry she got out of the movie business, but I hope she’s doing well in Real Estate.
