New High-Roller Airline Tickles Mayor Liccardo’s Funny Bone

Starting at just $1,950* a month, with a $1,000 installation fee, you, too, could laugh like the plane cabin is filled with nitrous oxide.

On Monday, San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo helped cut the ribbon for the San Jose launch of Surf Air, a company that provides unlimited charter flights to select destinations without the hassle of long lines, but with the comfort of “BMW-designed, plush leather seats with plenty of room to work or recline and relax.”

It’s a cool idea for people who fly a lot and can afford it, but let’s just take a moment to enjoy this picture. Captions are welcome.
